DISCOVER YOUR TRUE BALANCE
Your Ayurvedic Consultation
During your consultation I will look at your past and present situation and treat you accordingly, creating a bespoke treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.
Your plan will consist of the five approaches of Ayurveda and will be full of positive achievable recommendations and suggestions that I hope will not only be beneficial, but enjoyable too.
-
Food Recommendations - I will help guide and advise you via your bespoke treatment plan on which foods you need to avoid and which foods you need to include in your diet so you eat more in line with your natural body type and therefore balance your doshas.
-
Routines / Behaviours / Habit changes - You will receive Ayurvedic advice regarding how small or large lifestyle habits such as meal times, association with food, exercise routines and self care routines can create positive changes in and how you live your life.
-
Herbal supplements. After your consultation and as part of your treatment plan I will advise you on appropriate Ayurvedic herbal supplements to take daily and Ayurvedic products to use which will all be tailored to your individual needs and will balance your doshas. All products are natural, organic and vegan.
-
Ayurvedic Treatments - As part of your treatment plan I will suggest specific massages/treatments to help bring you back to balance. These treatments will include medicated herb-infused oils that will be selected according to your specific needs. The treatments are optional and come as an additional cost however most people like to include them as part of their treatment plan. I also show you massage strokes that you can practice on yourself at home to help. Another option is you can book in for one of my Ayurvedic signature packages which are all inclusive. Yoga is the sister science to Ayurveda and should really be called Yoga therapy! As part of your treatment plan I offer yoga exercises to follow either with me, in a class or at home. Slow healthy changes are key, remember movement is medicine, so yoga and movement are recommended, for example, I suggest walking for 15 minutes every day and encourage you to pursue any other form of physical activity that you happen to enjoy.
"Sally is very professional and puts you at ease straight away. Her various Ayurvedic treatments are an absolute delight and left me feeling relaxed yet uplifted. I highly recommend her."

WHAT TO EXPECT
The first thing we do is determine your bodies natural body type, your prakriti and your current imbalanced body type, your vikriti.
We do this by asking in-depth questions, taking and recording your pulse and tongue status. Your body type or constitution is a combination of the five great elements which present themselves as three doshas or biological forces, Vata, Pitta and Kapha. We all have these three biological forces within us however typically one or two doshas dominate over the others. Your underlying natural body type always remains the same however as conditions change due to life’s circumstances - diet, lifestyle and emotional/physical responses to stress - you can become imbalanced and this imbalance becomes your current body type and status. Our aim is to bring you back to balance and to your natural body type.
follow up consultation
After your initial treatment plan it is advised to book in for a 30 minute follow up consultation to see how you are and if we need to offer additional detoxes and massage treatments.
