Golden milk is a delicious blend of turmeric, ginger, cinnamon and cardamom and has been considered an elixir of all things! There are numerous benefits to this delicious warm nourishing and uplifting drink, here are some of the key benefits;

Nervous System:

Herbs like cardamom and turmeric help to calm down the nervous system. Widely known for use with concerns of insomnia, anxiety and nervousness. When added with cow’s milk these ingredients assists in nourishing the nervous system and with hydrating the tissues.

Digestive System:

Ayurvedic Golden Milk when cooked with milk can help to regulate the digestive system. In Ayurveda it helps to get rid of dryness and can help towards correcting irregular bowel symptoms. If you are vegan or dairy intolerant then when combined with other dairy alternatives, Ayurvedic Golden Milk is beneficial in IBS. When consumed regularly it also helps to get rid of excess heat or Pitta or inflammation from the gut.

This is your stomach letting you know it’s ready to receive food. At night we encourage you to drink a warm mug of golden milk 30 minutes before bed or if your stomach rumbles.
