Fresh Fruit
It’s so important to include raw fresh ripe fruits in your daily diet, this is a food we love to encourage in Ayurveda!
Fruit is full of vitamins, minerals, fibre, antioxidants, prana and they are easy to digest.
“Eat fruit alone or leave it alone”
This is an important saying in Ayurveda. Combing fruit with dairy is a big no no for us as it can create toxins in the body, this combination is especially bad if someone suffers from skin conditions, so when it comes to eating fruit, eat it when it’s ripe, fresh and generally sweet and remember, eat it alone.
